The Fitting-out
The Scharnhorst fitting-out in 1937. The Scharnhorst fitting-out, seen from astern.
The Scharnhorst is slowly towed through the opened Kaiser Wilhelm Bridge in Wilhelmshaven on her way from the 40,000-tonne floating dock in 1938. Shortly before the Scharnhorst enters service the future crewmembers are coming aboard.
